2014: April, May, June

APRIL

One of my first adventures of April was getting Phil's teeth cleaned with Teh MD Adult Roomie.  It included massages.  WIN.

Oceans by Hillsong United was my new favorite Jesus song and I really wished the praise band would learn it, but I didn't want to ask them because they weren't that type of deal.

I was burnt out on volunteering.  I blamed it on the grieving process and the fact that I was leaving Pax River in the closer future.

I got new roomies and they turned out to be the best roomies anyone could ever ask for and I miss them everyday still (and I'm not just saying that because they read Teh Blog).

I got Suzy2 and my life was revolutionized!

I started linking up with Kathy for Humpday Confessions (and knew that they would end eventually).  Teh Blog started getting decent exposure and I gained some awesome Gentle Readers.  I also received the most comments on any post ever with that linkup.  I loved going through and reading all the confessions each week and realizing that I'm not actually crazy!

I got another Liebster Award.

I spent the weekend with Teh Worldwide Jesus Lover and I got to shoot her brother's guns.  I fell in love with shooting a .22 and subsequently purchased one that turned out to be a complete and utter FAIL.

Teh Sister and I got (almost) matching tattoos.

I went to PostSecret Live in Charlotte on opening night and hung out with Frank Warren, IRL.

Teh BFF got married and I wasn't in the wedding, but several people thought I was.  Oops, bossy Megan was out in full swing since people seemed to need direction.

I wrote a PSA for captcha users and no-reply bloggers because both things drive me absolutely nuts.

MAY

I realized that my life calling was to embarrass Teh MD Teenage Roomie.  Sometimes this was inadvertently, sometimes it was completely on purpose.

I met Mr. Scrooge in DC since he was in town again.

I taught Teh MD Teenage Roomie how to make fudgy brownies.

I was vaguebooking about Millington, TN (where I almost ended up moving after I got out of the Navy because Mr. Mystery almost got stationed there) until I finally admitted that I was no longer single and was doing something crazy like moving my entire life to a new place for a boy.  CRAAAAYYYY CRRAAYYYYYY.

I attended the Greyt Expectations annual picnic and ran The Color Run in DC again.

I started reading for serious.

The songs of the month were Nico and Vinz - Am I Wrong and Sara Evans - Slow Me Down.

I finally admitted being in a relationship with Mr. Mystery.

Cristina officially left Grey's Anatomy and I was crushed for life (so much so I still haven't started watching the most current (Cristina-less) season).

JUNE

I was officially obsessed with .gifs.

I had an endoscopy and showed you my come to selfie.

Teh Motivator talked me into signing up for the DIVAS 1/2 Marathon.  Woah.

Meri tried to commit suicide via 800mg Motrin.  She's a dick.

I explained to you how to properly fill out an SF-86 or SF-85 or any type of background investigation paperwork.

Teh Humanitarian and Teh Coast Guardian left SoMD and I was all the sads.

I was ridiculous in Lowes Hardware because someone said, "What trouble can she get into at a hardware store."

I officially started my 1/2 marathon training.  Bleh.

Not Millington, TN became an option.

I started my VA appointments.  I still don't have a final determination on my disability rating yet, but they sent me a letter in November that said they are still working on it.  Good talk guys, good talk.

I ran 7.5 miles, non-stop, the longest distance I'd ran ever in my entire life.

I visited the Botanical Gardens and Post Office Museum with Teh FL Greyhound Neighbors.

I educated everyone on Facebook privacy settings.

Miley came back to stay with us!

The song of the month was Come With Me Now by Kongos.

My last River Concert Series started.

I made it official that I was moving to SC instead of TN since Mr. Mystery got an ordmod.
