2016 - July, August, September

JULY

The month started off with a Pinterest success.  It was like seeing a unicorn!

We had our Haus warming party (aka that one time when my parents actually slept in a confined space under the same room and didn't kill each other, but almost kinda), we took Teh Mom to Angel Oak, and we did more gardening gave ourselves serious heat injuries (that's actually no jk). 

I posted Part 1 of my German recaps.

We went out on the boat with friends.

I almost killed myself running in the July heat and called it "training for Disneyland."

I started growing Carolina Reapers.

I showed Goodreads who the boss is.

We watched a few Disney movies outside with strangers.

We made an impromptu trip to Raleigh to surprise Teh Running Bestie for her birthday and we had brunch with Teh Advising Sister.

We acquired our first piece of recycled furniture made by Teh Builder.

We loaded up on Stingrays gear for the next season.

I did a 10 mile run on a Saturday night from 11pm-01am.  

AUGUST

Teh German and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary with fancy dinner downtown.

We headed up to NC so Teh German could ride and I could shoot a wedding with Teh WJL.  At said wedding, I injured my 2nd toe on my right foot, which would play a role in everything for months afterwards.  We also went to Teh German's first "race".

Teh German's anniversary present finally arrived and I think I did good.

I finally got a library card.

Teh Sister and Teh BIL came to visit!

Teh Sister and I crafted and we made 101 Dalmatian Mickey ears and an Up themed wreath for the front door.

Company moved.

I had my final contact with Shitty House Owner, despite the nagging feeling to just ignore him as he had done us for months.

My Kindle started to give me issues and they sent me a Kindle 10 to replace it.

We went out on the boat with friends for the last time in 2016.  It was super cool since we were in the harbor and got a pic under the bridge.

We completed our Hue lights setup!

SEPTEMBER

We went to Disneyland!!!

I made Dole Whip at home.

I planned a December Disney adventure, made the hotel reservations, and bought our tickets.

Teh German and I had date night and cemented our love for D'Als pizza.

We requested 2 custom frames from Michael's.  One for the Germerika flag and the other for my Disney medals.

I endured the first presidential debate.
