Weekend Review {3/26}

FRIDAY

No class for Leadership Day meant that I went to work like a normal adult.  I finally have tasking, which is delightful.  I worked on my things and then left at 2 to get my hairs did.

Since she didn't have time for a color when I got it cut a few weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment for Friday.  I showed her my Pinterest board and we agreed on colors after she commented, "You're all over the place."

Well, yes.  Regarding color.  Not about the style of coloring I wanted.  This is important later.

My board almost all ombre styles with a "natural" color at the roots to about halfway down and then the color starts.

Party started.

Final results.

It took me about 24 hours to realize that what I had come home with was NOT exactly what I wanted.  Granted, I like the color, but there is no ombre.  It is just burgundy/red/magenta/whatever you want to call this color.  She put a darker color at the roots, but I think she missed the part where it was supposed to go to about halfway down before the crazy red started.  It's complicated and I'm having a hard time telling myself that I should go back and be like... How did we go from what I showed you on my pinterest board to THIS (i.e. my head)?  I know I should go tell her.. but it's not overly worth it for me to complain about it and it's not that bad (which shouldn't be something I'm saying about a service I paid for (we won't talk about exactly how much it was, mmkay?)).  Additionally, I don't want to pay to have it fixed.  While I really get along well with my hair dresser, I'm about to be in the market for another if this is the trend.

The first thing I told Liz when I sat down was that I didn't like how short she had made the layers in my hair during the cut 2 weeks ago.  But the thing about hair is that once you cut it, you have to let it grow back and there's nothing you can do about it.  Technically, this color is strike 3 since the first color I had her do was completely unnoticeable (EVEN TO HER).  IDK.  This is why I have hair dresser trust issues.  Someone people give me good advice because I don't not like it, but I don't love it and well.. I'm moderately non-confrontational about shit like this because it's just hair and it will grow back, but how does it go from 95% of the pictures on my pinterest board to a full crazy red color?  We are obviously having some miscommunication issues.

A mabillionty hours later, I made it home about 30 seconds after Teh German had arrived home.  Teh German said he liked the color and I couldn't tell if he was being nice or not, but I accepted the compliment (knowing how much I paid helped accept the compliment).  I had seen Teh AF Maintainer (ret.) walking his dogs on my way home and asked if he wanted to go to dinner with us.  He accepted and I told him we'd figure out a place and let him know.

We ended up going to The Workshop, which is like a food court.  We all ended up eating at the mexican place and it was good, except that my food was too spicy for me.. so that was fun.

Did get to see these sexy pants....

Dat velour assssss and dem mules.
/slayyyyyy

I'm just not hipster enough for today's youth.  In fact, it was a big deal on Saturday when I wore jeans out instead of gym pants after threatening Teh German that I was, in fact, planning to wear my gym pants out.  It's complicated.

After we got home from dinner, we came home to a slaying.

Poor Lamp Chop.  She recently underwent surgery and she's already back in the laundry room awaiting Dr. Teh Megan to repair her brains.  We weren't home for long before we headed over to Teh PT House to hang out for a bit.  Husbands smoked cigars while Wives puzzled.

Eventually, we headed home and it was bedtime.

SATURDAY

Saturday I intended on going to The Citadel to watch all the fun celebration things, but ended up staying in bed until 11.  I saw an email from Victoria's Secret (VS) about my bras being $25 and underwear being 10/$35 and I knew what I needed to do.  I also had planned on accomplishing the grocery shopping... like physically going into the store, which was serious.  Teh German needed to go by the dive shop to take a picture for and get his open water card.  I asked if he wanted to come with me to VS and for grocery shopping and he said yes.  And as I was completely ready to go, he was getting in the shower....

My approximate reaction.

I went downstairs to eat to stave off hangar and went back upstairs.  There was no expeditiousness in Teh German's attitude.  Teh German Time had struck.  FML.  Since I knew Teh German needed to eat, I went ahead and jumped in the shower (which I had bypassed since I was trying to get to VS before all the good undies were purchased).  I yelled to Teh German when I got out of the shower that when I got downstairs, he better be ready to leave.

Can we talk about how incredibly frustrating it is when someone who is always rushing you because STUFF AND THINGS DAMMIT.. and then when YOU are trying to get somewhere, they're like "Dooot-de-doooo.. I got all day."  And then.. they have the nerve to say, "What's the rush?!"

UNDERWEAR!  10/$35 IS THE DAMN RUSH.  And you realize how ridiculous that sounds, but you'd have already been there by now if you'd hadn't been nice and invited Husband along to the panty party... /facepalm.

Anyways.. we finally got there and there was a very limited selection of prints in my style (bikini, thanks for asking) and then limit it to my size and well, I ended up with some uglies.  Whatever.  I also picked up a front-closing bra!!  I Snapped about it, because I almost lost my mind when I saw it.  I actually tried it on and everything.  We'll see how it works out.  I bought one because Lawd knows I miss my front clasp bra from my teenage years.  I won't get started on back closures on bras, but I am still baffled about WHY women's clothes aren't designed to be functional in any regard (i.e. back clasps and no fucking pockets).

Some lady had her dog in the store and that was kinda cool.
Super adorable, well behaved, 8 month old Pit.

After VS, we headed to the dive shop for Teh German.  He got his stuff taken care of and discussed his advanced dives with a divemaster because I've been harassing him about it (because I will leave his ass on the shore, #notsorry, if he doesn't have his proper dive quals).

#SunroofHairs #dontcurr

We were headed to the grocery store and I told Teh German that we could go to the store on Sunday since it was supposed to rain.  It was a gorgeous day on Saturday and Teh German had wanted to ride.  He accepted this and we headed home.  He worked on Bob and "synced the carbs" whatever the fuck that means, and then came inside and seemed completely unmotivated.  I asked if he wanted to ride and he was indecisive.

Finally, he said he'd rather be lazy.  So we made dinner and had planned to watch some Vikings.  30 seconds after we had finished eating dinner, Teh SC German texted Teh German asking if we wanted to meet at Red's.  Teh German was being wishy-washy about it, but I finally pushed him over the edge when I told him we could ride the bikes, which would limit his drinking.  He was confused at first and then I explained that if we drove a vehicle, he'd drink a lot of beer and we'd be out super late and he'd feel like garbage the next morning.. and he agreed to go and ride the bikes.

We left about 15 minutes later.  The man can't get out of the house when I'm in a hurry though.  Just imagine an extremely "not impressed" face, because that was my reaction.  Did I say anything?  No.  Because #GoodWife.  We made it to Red's without incident.  Teh SC Teacher and Teh SC German were already there and we waited on 2 others to join us.  Since we had already eaten dinner, I had a dessert (which was disappointing) and a beverage.  Teh German had a beer and some coconut skrimpies (known to normal people as: shrimp).

After everyone was done eating, they wanted to head out to the bar, but we tapped out and headed home.  Since we were on the bikes, we knew we didn't want to do any more drinking and it was also dark out and we wanted to get home before the drunks decided to start driving themselves home.

When we got home, we put on stretchy pants and landed on the couch for some Vikings and, for me, homework.

SUNDAY

Sunday, I took dog duty and got up to feed the dogs.  I briefly considered going on a run and it was raining, so I passed.  Instead, I stayed up and worked on homework.  Teh German eventually came downstairs.  I did have good intentions of going to the store, but it was 11:30 and Teh Builder texted and said she would deliver the guest room dresser since I was concerned it wouldn't fit in the back of Yurtle and I didn't want to put it in the back of the truck while it was raining.  Her ETA was 1pm.  Kinda when I needed to be at the store.

While I waited on her, I burned some time.  I was made an administrator on our neighborhood Facebook page, so I did some housecleaning for the group and then decided to get off the computer.  Teh German had started working on immigration paperwork and I asked if he was busy and he said yes, sooooo I went upstairs and moved the dresser from the Guest Room to First Child Room by myself (#GirlPower) to make room for the incoming dresser.  I also swapped out curtains in First Child Room and put the old First Child Room curtains downstairs in the dining room, which was an adventure because I'm short.  I reminded myself that if I was single, I'd be doing all these things myself anyways, so it was a nice reminder that I can still do all these things all by myself.

I didn't have time to shower by that point, but Teh Builder arrived soon after.  She got to experience Teh German and I at our worst (i.e. working together to carry anything up the stairs + Teh German was already moody because he was doing paperwork which just so happened to be immigration paperwork, which I cannot help with (because it actually makes ZERO sense to me but not because I'm unwilling, and it makes me understand why immigration is so complicated and fucked up)) and she ended up having to help Teh German get the dresser the rest of the way upstairs.

I had been worried the dresser was going to be too long and we'd have to rearrange the furniture, but the size was perfect for the area.  NBD, #LikeABoss.

I want to make some map themed knobs for it, but in the meantime, Teh Builder found some brushed chrome knobs for it.  I lurve it.  The grey is a metallic, distressed color and the blue is also slightly distressed.  When I first came up with this idea, it sounded sketchy to a few people, but everyone loves the way it turned out.  This is a common theme in my life, which makes me happy.

After Teh Builder headed out, I ordered the groceries online because #LazyAF.

After ordering the groceries, Teh German informed me that if I was going to shower, I should go do that... sooooo I went upstairs and showered.

Me to Teh Running Bestie and Teh Sister:
Murder, hair dye, or both?
We'll never know.

and then no one responded for like a millionty years (30 minutes) and I had to explain that they were witnessing genius.

We were car pooling with Teh PT Husband and Wife at 3:30 for Teh Dental Hygienist's surprise birthday dinner at California Dreaming.  I was out of the shower by 3:03.  I watched the minutes tick by and it was after 3:15 when Teh German finally came upstairs and started getting ready.  Teh German Time was reallllllllll this weekend, Gentle Readers.  I was completely ready by 3:23 and I was standing around in the kitchen just waiting on Teh German to come down.

I used the spare time to be ready to walk out the door.  I muzzled Pax and told Alexa to play music for the them.  All Teh German had to do was grab his wallet and put on shoes once he got downstairs.  I purposely was standing around waiting on him, not starting to do anything because I knew if I drug my feet just a little bit, I'd have to hear it.

Teh German had been in a pissy mood all day and he was trying to rush me out the door and I finally said, "Stop, come here."  He was irritated (as expected) and I finally asked, "What is your problem?"  He said he was frustrated from the paperwork.  I then gently reminded him, "Then, I am NOT your problem."  He responded, "I know."  I said, "Taking out your frustration on me is not ok just because he's frustrated at something else."  He acknowledged me and we headed out the door where our PT Taxi was waiting in the driveway.

Teh German was super quiet for the entire evening.  We definitely surprised Teh Dental Hygienist.  It was awesome.  Our service wasn't actually that great, but the food was delicious, as expected.

Teh Neighbor Besties!

When we got home, I agreed to some Vikings while I attempted some Photoshop homework.  Double exposure editing is kicking my ass and I hate it.  I want to do cool things, but it's just not for me.  I'm about to just download some stock images and do exactly like what was in the video instead of trying to do the project with my own photos, since I know that using my own photos isn't going to get me any extra points.

After several episodes, it was finally bedtime.  I got very little homework accomplished.  Of course.

______________________________________________

Overall, a decent weekend.  Teh German was pretty moody, so that put a damper on things, but we had fun socializing, so that was positive.  Sometimes, life has to be just meh so other times can be HELLA AWESOMEEE!

This week includes:
-Another sex ed bio lab.  /wrist
-Teh Advising Sister arrives on Friday and we're gonna do things!  Like go downtown so she can peruse the "merchandise" and have brunch and go to an adult toy party.  Seriously, be jelly.
-Laundry.  The Laundry Fairy had such a good run of staying on top of the laundry and then she just petered out.  Makes since because the Dishes Gnome went on strike this weekend.  The Gnome finally reappeared Sunday evening (Thank God because all the dishes in the sink was almost unbearable for me).  The Laundry Fairy made a fly by last night and sorted the laundry and started a load, but didn't make more of a commitment than that.  She might get that shit done this week.  We'll see.
-Hopefully the cleaning crew came today.  If they didn't, they are probably fired.  I'm over this shit.
-I will finish Year of Yes and hopefully stop spontaneously crying every time Shonda talks about Cristina's last episode.  There was a chapter pretty much dedicated to Cristina and when Shonda repeats Cristina's last lines, there were tears.  YALL, I WAS CRYING AT WORK.  Cristina is everything I want to be but in real life and sans the tequila.  I tear up anytime I hear the version of "Where Does the Good Go?" from that episode.  Judge me.  #DontCurr.

And he dies in the next season.
Convenient.

Happy end of March, Gentle Readers!

Five on Friday #141

EINS - Random things

-I was talking to the vets in my Calc class and admitted that I used to play World of Warcraft, to which they responded, so did we.  Then I also admitted that I was really having a "craving" to go mining in WoW and they completely understood.  #NerdsUnite

-Let's talk about rage for a moment.  My photoshop professor's grading and the inability to make a perfect score on any assignment.  Our most recent project was to create 3 panoramas in photoshop.  This is actually a very simple task and I have actually shot photos specifically for the purpose of making them into a panorama, so I was ready.  I stitched together my 3 panoramas, set the auto color/contrast/etc on all of them (because I am an over-contrastor and over-greener) because that's what he tends to prefer based on feedback from other projects I've submitted.  I actually submitted 4 instead of 3 by accident and still only made a 190/200 points.  He didn't leave comments on this one for me to know why I lost points.

Here's my real problem.  There is no grading rubric anywhere.  Not even the assignments are posted with a rubric of requirements.  So grading is completely subjective.  /RAGE

I let another student use some of my photos for her projects and I'm interested to see what grade she made.
Final note: The teacher let several students leave to take photos for the project during class time and didn't tell them how to shoot for a panoramic.  I was the one who finally brought it up after another student was asking me if I thought his pictures would work (no).  I know that this is an arts class and it's really a senior blow off class, but I feel like I've learned nothing and what I thought was going to be an easy A isn't because of the instructor's subjectivity.  My only goal is to get an A in that class because it's Photoshop.  I learned more watching YouTube videos than I have in this class.

-In lieu of a biology lab this week, I'm pretty sure we had sex ed, but used a microscope to look at what Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, yeast (like from a yeast infection), and a louse (head, not pubic) look like to call it "lab."  This isn't actually worth commenting on.. except that... The Citadel is more than 90% male, and that does NOT bother me in the slightest.

What bothers me is that probable-sexually-active adult males were asking questions about birth control because they don't know about it.  I was educating my instructor on Depo-Provera and he was using it as an in-class example of birth control.  THIS IS NOT OK.  I do not claim to know everything there is to know about being male, but I feel confident about my level of knowledge about male birth control options (yeah, I know they are limited), but here's my thing.  Birth control is a TWO WAY STREET, if you are using it responsibly as a decision NOT to have a child and/or a means to protect yourself from a sexually transmitted disease.  The instructor even pointed out that women have most of the burden when it comes to birth control, which kinda made me want to punch him in the face.

NEWS FLASH!
Sex isn't awkward unless you let it be.  I can (almost) guarantee that your parents had sex and so did your Granny and even your great-great-great-great-grandparents.  Based on biology, sex is not only completely normal, it's natural.  There are scientific reasons that we want to have sex.  All too often, people associate sex with shame and then it becomes a taboo and kids think they have to sneak around to have sex.

I believe that sex isn't shameful and normalizing sex will help reduce teen pregnancy.  It will also open lines of communication between teenagers and adults.  To villainize or shame feelings about sex is to make it more appealing to teenagers.  My thing is that teenagers (and even some children) are going to have sex no matter what.  To have open lines of communication about that means that teenagers/children can make educated decisions about their bodies with the help of an adult.

Obviously, I feel quite strongly about this.
PS.  If you want me to give your kid the birds and the bees talk, I'm available.

-Midterm grades:
  • Photoshop - A (but barely, grrr)
  • Computer Science 2 - A (because I do my homework)
  • Calculus 1 - B (which is because I love derivatives)
  • German 2 - A (but it won't last if I don't step up my game)
  • Biology 2 - B (this is a blow off class for me to meet a requirement that my NCSU credits didn't fulfill even though I fulfilled it already, #DGAF)
  • Biology 2 Lab - A (duh)
I'd like to pull both B's up to an A, but I'm not sure if it will be possible.  We shall see.
As always, passing is the minimum requirement, but all A's is preferable.

-Spring break is next week!  I've got the "spring break itis" so bad this I can't accurately describe it, but trust me, school is not where I want to be.

-Teh Running Bestie will be here next week!  She's bring FOUR dogs with her and I'm excited and I'm not telling Teh German because, 1- I'm an asshole, 2- I don't want to deal with his stress about "all the dogs" until they arrive (ugh, just no on the drama llama), 3- I kind of want to see his reaction when he comes home to SIX dogs in the house, 4- I am excited to have 6 dogs in the house, 5- There will be 4 humans and 6 dogs, we can handle it.

-Teh Advising Sister is coming over Easter weekend and I'm puuuuumppped.  She was here for the wedding, but she made the commute and before that, she was here when House was in-progress, so she gets to see the final results!

-70 days until we start our honeymoon adventure(s)!

-Meri's 4th Gotcha Day was this week and that fuzz-bucket is a decision that was an easy choice once it was right in front of me.  It took me a while to warm up to the idea of 2 dogs, but once she came home, it was like she was exactly what we'd been missing.

My Monkey-Doodle still has that Podenco crazy, but she's changed soooo much in our 4 years together.  When she came home, she was full of puppy terrorism (to include losing all her baby teeth everywhere and then I'd step on them and cuss) and an addiction to stuffed mice.  Despite Phil's resistance to playing with her, she never bothered him.  Today, she's terrorized by Pax but she has to charge her batteries sometimes, which wasn't always a requirement.  She has never stopped dripping water all over my floors or whoring for butt scratches and she's definitely part cat with her desire to curl up and snuggle always.  I look forward to a decade more with my Wiggly-butt-doodlebug.

DREI - Things from my phone

Cadbury, why you do me like this?
PS.  I used this as an opportunity to strengthen my immune system.

I got to select the colors...
Blue laptop, purple mouse, yellow sleeve.
#NoFavoriteColor

Took Yurtle through the car wash on Weds afternoon.
Parked here on Thursday morning...
Thanks Citadel for the "car wash" to collect all the pollen...
Please note, ONLY my car was in the direction of the sprinkler.
#FML

That probably looks like a bird or dot to you, but it is an E-2 Hawkeye and I'm 100% sure it doesn't live in Charleston and it's probably drunk and needs to go home before too many VX-1 bumblebee memories flood my brain.

Eye appointment on Tuesday for Teh German and I.
We got dilated!

If you've been around for a while, you probably remember my posts about finding the most ridiculous sunglasses.  Well, that game has now spread into the word of vision correction.  #NOTSORRY

If my teeth were worse, I'd look like Megan from Mad Men.

Lookin' like Teh Mom circa 1986-1997.

Lookin' like Teh MD-Teenage Roomie

I liked this color

EPIC NERD POWA!

I don't know why these are making a come-back, but no.

I told Teh German no on these for personal reasons.

I really loved the color of these, but I could see the green from the inside and it was very distracting.

Final selection.
I went with bigger lenses since my current glasses are a bit too narrow, which wasn't an issue before school.

Five on Friday #139

EINS - Random things

-I dropped my summer Chemistry classes and swapped it for a Calc 2 class.  I've already had a break between Chem 1 and 2, so why not just add some more time in there.. ya know, like a year.  I feel like taking a harder subject during the summer when class meets every day makes it easier than when class meets every other day, at which point I sleep twice and forget even more.  I also considered taking the class at another college to transfer it in, but that just seems like a lot of effort right now.  My veteran calc classmates have informed me that they will NOT be taking it during the summer due to the compressed schedule.

-When you buy the wrong sizes after reading in text the correct size and you get your own size wrong.. you may have an issue.

-I've stopped linking up for SUYB because I was having horrible blogger guilt for dropping my link and never visiting other linker-uppers.  The reality is, I don't have time to go through other blogs.  I can barely keep up with the, like, 6 blogs on my Feedly.

-At the Hot Chocolate Half expo, I received a bunch of chocolate probiotic samples.  They are no as delicious as I wanted them to be.

-I'm struggling in German this semester because we're actually covering things more than my limited knowledge and because calculus homework sucks up all the extra hours of my life.  Maybe I should prioritize.

-For the first time.. maybe ever.. I'm going to run out of data before the end of my billing cycle and I can't for the life of me figure out what is sucking up all my data.  I wish there was a way to track app data usage DAILY.  My phone has the cycle tracker and shows me what apps use the most data overall in a month, but I need to see the day to day break down because NO ME GUSTA.  Part of the issue is that they gave me a free month of unlimted data, which erased all my roll over data that I had banked up... If I had the banked up data, I'd be ok, but without it.. Not so much.  I never thought this would apply to me, but it's time to go on a #DataDiet.

-I want to do a Ragnar run soooo badly.  I wish I could explain it, but I cannot.  I signed up to be a free agent on the website, so maybe someone that needs an extra person for their team will contact me.  Please please please please pleaseeeeeeeeee.

-I am signing up to do the Chicago Rock n Roll weekend (5k and half marathon (or maybe the 10k, idk)) AND the Route 66 half marathon with Teh Running Bestie and Teh Kiawah Friend.  Teh Kiawah Friend was already doing these races and asked if I wanted to tag along and I have no will power and said yes and I then told Teh Running Bestie and well.. Now we're all 3 sharing a hotel room and running races and FRIENDS!  Also, some EPIC ASS medals are going to be earned.

-Teh German said he wanted to go to Florida on a dive trip over his birthday weekend, sooo we're going on a dive trip over his birthday weekend.  I think we might be making up for the lack of 2017 adventures in 2018.  #NOTSORRY

-Teh German and I exchanged valentine's cards and the TL;DR was essentially the same for both cards.  I love that we do that.  It's cheesy, but I don't curr.

-Being able to skip my 0800 classes without much issue or falling behind in class makes me extra happy.

-We had a Marti Gras celebration at work on Tuesday.  Have I mentioned lately that I work for the best Company ever?  Because I do.

-Semi-related.  When I tell other vet students that I have a full-time job, I think they think I'm bragging about already having a job, when really I'm just saying:
1- I can't apply for scholarship because I make too much money.
2- I can't do homework with you at lunch every day because I have to go to work.
3- I don't need to go to a career fair.

I'm honestly not bragging, but I think people think I am and that makes me sad.
Then again, this a group of people that will talk about the person that isn't there as soon as they leave the room when they were just being friendly to their face.  I asked what they say about me when I'm not around and they said that I talk too much and I complain a lot.  Yep.  That's accurate.  Don't curr.  I really struggle with this behavior because it feels very "teenage girl" to me and these are grown ass men.  /facepalm

-I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT when I get a massage and they do not massage my butt.  I'm not asking you swipe my butt crack, but lawd my butt contains the biggest "muscles" in my body.  Can a girl get a good rub down from a paid professional?! UGH.  Sometimes, I really miss the masseuses in Bahrain with their actual full body rubs.  Like, my boobs got massaged once and my belly.  Essentially, everything but my genitals, which is exactly how I liked it.  I willing to give them a pass for the boobs/belly thing, but come onnnn.. MY BUTT IS A MUSCLE... and some fat, but shut up about that.

ZWEI - Money spent

I went shopping because I had several returns to take back and several rewards that were going to expire soon.  #firstworldproblems

  • Groupon for National Pizza Day.
  • New running shoes.  I bought a pair of Hokas to be my 2nd set of running shoes, but they make my calves cramp.  I've tried running in them and I also have worn them to during the week and walked around campus in them and my calves hurt just walking from class to class.  It's not my jam.  So I used my Dick's rewards to purchase some new Brooks like I had last year that I loved.
  • Old Navy: New loafer shoes and 2 pairs of jeans for me, several pairs of pants for Teh German and 2 short sleeve shirts I know he is going to like.
  • Kohl's: So what had happened was.. I had a return to do and then I managed to stumble on an awesome clearance section.. and I had a 30% off coupon and some rewards dollas.. and well, what should have probably cost me $150 on sale, only cost me $60.  I feel like I stole the stuff.  I ended up getting new curtains and a comforter for First Child Room, a new photo collage frame, cute Valentine's dish towels, and a Valentine's Day card for HUSBAND, since it is our first Vday together.
  • Jim n Nick's after dive class.  I needed some cheese biscuits.
  • A congrats present for Teh Sister, which I'm super pumped about and I can't wait for her to receive it because she's gonna LUURRRVVEEE it..  and unless she's reading Teh Blog, she doesn't know it's coming. HA!
  • Lunch on campus because I was over pot roast and there were no leftovers.
  • Lidl trip to pick up TWO items and I walked out with no less than 10 things.  Oops.
    • One of the things was an orchid for Teh German for Valentine's Day.  So he got flowers too!
  • Wendy's for lunch so I could save my steak leftovers for Friday lunch...
  • I paid for our taxes to be done by a professional this year.  It was $125 well spent.  Thanks to Twin Dad for the referral.

DREI - Things from my phone

Q: What do you call identical boobs?
A: Identities.
Side note: In the spirit of Marti Gras.

I went with Teh Dental Hygienst to truely embrace my #oldladystatus.
They needed a 12th person for Bunko night and I was it.
It's essentially a dice game and it's not complicated until someone tries to explain the rules to you.
I ended up winning so I made $2 profit.

I think my coworkers thought that baby fever would strike me from holding a 1 month old.
They were wrong.

My coworkers said I needed to text a picture to Teh German with the caption, "What should we name it?"
His answer? "And the name would be "Give it back".
And this folks, is why he is the #BestHusbandEver

This is also why he's the #BestHusbandEver.
Every year I swear we don't do valentines and every year he comes through.
This year flowers were delivered to work (for me to find on Thursday) and he scheduled a couple's massage.
Seriously though.  #LuckiestWomanEver

This is my annoyed face for having to walk 10 minutes to the park near campus for Biology lab because we listened to the instructor talk about the species of animals and trees in the area and then said ok you can go.
I'm annoyed because we didn't do any simulation experiment like the instructor said we would and I had toted my 10+lb backpack all the way there and had to get all the way back to campus.
This is how people die.
