Weekend Review {3/9}

FRIDAY

No post Friday, oops, but life took over and it just didn't happen.  Don't worry, I'll make up for it this week.  Work, then school, then home for some teleworking until it was time for Teh PT Wife and I to head to Myrtle Beach (MB).

When we got to MB, we hung out with our hostess at the bar where she is a bartender for some free beverages.  We headed to the expo before dinner.  Again, we were disappointed.  1- It was held at Dave and Busters and it was a clusterfuck.  There weren't a lot of actual tables either.  Oh well.

We had dinner at Bimini's again, as tradition dictates.  This year, I made the wise life choice to NOT remove my card from my wallet or even remove my wallet from my purse.  We ended up just splitting everything anyways, so I PayPal-ed Teh PT Wife and we all laughed and appreciated my credit card strife from last year (when I left my card at the restaurant and it never made it's way back to me).

After dinner, we headed home and hung out for a little while and then it was bedtime.

SATURDAY

We were up at 0615 on Saturday morning to get ready for the race and head out.  Since we ran the 5k this year, we had to take a shuttle to the start, so we had to allow time for that situation.  Additionally, it wasn't warm outside (a breezy 40°F and falling), so it was not a pleasant wait for the shuttle to arrive once we finally got out of the car.

Pre-race selfie

We only ran the 5k for the Bless Your Heart (BYH) medal you get for running a Charleston Marathon race + a Myrtle Beach Marathon race.  We debated doing the half, but since it was only for the medal and we ran the half last year, opted for the shorter distance.  THERE WERE REGRETS.

1- You run on the boardwalk, which is theoretically very cool, except that it winds down the beach and there are benches on the path and there were half a million people crammed into an area that is maybe 5 persons wide... and no thanks.

2- Shuttle to start.  Ugh.  You can park and walk to the half start, which means I can sit in the car (and nap) if it's cold until I feel like it.

So tired... hahah, like it wasn't just a 5k.

Blllaannnngggggg

The biggest perk of doing the 5k is that it only took us ~30 minutes to run it and then after getting our BYH medal, we checked out the post-race tents (minimal options going on there) and then we didn't even have to wait to get a table at Johnny D's for brunch.  Last year, we had a wait.  Our hostess met us, eventually, for breakfast.  Eventually because she was blocked by so many closed roads for the race that she almost just said fuck it and turned around and went home, and no one would have blamed her.

After brunch, Teh PT Wife and I headed back to Charleston.  Teh German was out on a ride so when I got home, the beasts were dying for attention.

This shadow wouldn't let me out of his sight from the moment I got home.
Like I was gone for half his life instead of for less than 24 hours.

I unpacked my shit, started the laundry, puttered around the house, finally showered, and then plopped on the couch for resting.

2019 BYH (top) vs 2020 BYH.
This year's medal seemed so much bigger than last year's.
And this year's was better because beach umbrellas on the MB side and pineapples on the Charleston side!

Meri and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary on Saturday.  I wasn't sure what kind of treats I was going to give her/them, but then I kept it simple.  We had a sample bag of food from the dog event I attended with Teh PT Husband/Wife in Feb and this PB needs to be used, soooo frozen PB kongs with surprise treats inside were made up.  I put them in the freezer and they each got a kong for dessert.

Teh German and I went to Walmart to order my new glasses, which was almost a debacle when the guy didn't want to help me since it was after 5:30 and he closed at 6 (uhh, rude), but he did and I bought 2 pairs of glasses and should have just bought one, but whatever.. Then we hit up The Codfather for dinner.  We sat at the bar and this old asshole beside us kept talking to us, which was fine until I realized he was a drunk asshole.  He kept trying to make me feel bad for being on my phone.  He also told us about how important he was and how only less than 10 people in the US can do his job because of all his experience, blah blah blah.  At one point during his self-boasting I straight up said, "Do you want a cookie for all of that?"  He didn't get it, but the bartender heard it and gave a chuckle.  He also tried to give us shit for ordering on a half order of the fish and chips.  Bro, you don't fucking know me.  Mind your own damn business.  Yes, it's good, but I don't want to make myself sick.  /rolleyes

When we got home, it was stretchy pants time.  I handed out Kongs to the beasts and Teh German and I watched Dark until definitely after my bedtime.

SUNDAY

Sunday we woke up at whatever time it was.  0930?  IDK.  Time change makes life hard.  I managed to get my ass in gear and get to the Burpees and Brews workout at Ghost Monkey.  I only went because on a Sunday morning, Ghost Monkey is only 30 mins from house.  I hung out after and drank my coffee while the others had beer.  I finally left around 1 to get home and do productive things.

I was surprised to find Teh German still at home when I arrived.  I figured, for sure, he'd be out riding Lars-/Ludwig (his not-yet named bike, I truthfully think he just wants to call it "The BMW" on principle, but I refuse... also on principle).  Ultimately, that is what he ended up doing, but after we walked the beasts and ate lunch.  This worked out ideally since I had homework to attend to.

I can also now say that I've called the cops on a neighbor.  Technically, they don't live in our neighborhood, but on the other side of the wooded area behind our house.  I'm not sure who thought it would be a good idea to have a fucking fiesta all day, but I could hear their music IN MY HOUSE and that was unacceptable.  When I called the county non-emergency number, they insisted that it was from the city limits housing and transferred me to my city's non-emergency line.  I was annoyed because I KNOW the house is NOT located within the city limits, but, of course, I know nothing.  Thankfully, the lady who answered the city's non-emergency line took down my complaint and said she'd call the county for me.  Thank you, Lady, so much.

Within an hour, the music turned down or off.  Either way, I couldn't hear it, which was all I cared about.  I'm not a "call the cops" person... but disturb my peace inside my house.. and all bets are off.  I should not have to use my noise cancelling headphones in my house for a noise that isn't coming from within my house.  Period.

I managed to power through almost all of my homework before Teh German came home.  We had tacos for dinner and I headed back to the office to do the last bit of my German homework and finish a Cricut project for Teh PT Husband.  Then I headed to the couch for an episode of Dark.

After screen time, we headed to bed.

______________________________________________

I was awake at 03/04 this morning.  I'm not actually sure what time it was.  I looked at my watch and it blinded me and I tried to do math and with the time change everything was fucked up and I know that I've been awake since well before the alarm went off and that makes me disgruntled on a Monday after losing an hour.  I mean, technically, I didn't loose an hour of sleep because I slept until I woke up on Sunday, but principle since it was dark outside for like.. ever.

The downside to no Friday post is that I didn't get to share that my Women in Cybersecurity conference got cancelled.  No worries though, we are still headed to Denver this week because I'm not losing $800 for our already paid for plane tickets.

This week is kinda busy.
-Tues evening: We're getting an estimate for painting the hizzhous.
-Weds evening: Gettin' the taxes done did (finally).
-Thurs morning: I fly to Denver and telework for 2 days instead of going to the WiCyS conference, Teh German will be meeting me on Saturday for our Spring Break mini-vacation.

I am not sorry to see March blasting past.
60 days until graduation.  Teh Bestie sent me her flight itinerary this morning!
Days until next race: 6.
Days until I am with Teh Bestie and Matilda for another runcation: 18.
Medals received in 2020: 5

Five on Friday #126

EINS

Random things:

  • Why the gas station would put a $150 hold on my card for gas is beyond me.  I drive a fucking Kia.  #Rage
  • It took 2 peppermint mocha creamers and some sugar to make my coffee bearable.  Thank you, Company, for providing all those things for freeizzle.
  • I had Doritos for breakfast one day this week.  #notsorry #adultinglikeaboss
  • I was searching through my photos on Google for a specific picture that I couldn't find and ended up scrolling through 3 years worth of photos and I loved every minute.
Can we just talk about the sweetness of first time snuggles?
And how dark my Meri-Meri was when she was a baby?

  •  After talking to a photographer about bridal portraits and location options and seeing places charging $50 for 30 minutes in their location, I noticed a picture on Pinterest of a bride in front of a wall of books... AND THE GENIUS HIT ME.  I called the Charleston Library Society about doing a photoshoot in the library and they said yes.  They are only going to charge me $100 for 2 hours, which is wayyy better than some of the other historical homes.  DUNNNN.
  • I sat outside for most of the afternoon yesterday at work and it was fabulous.  Temps in the 70s bring me such joy during the daytime.
  • It's been a delightfully quiet week for me, despite being a full moon.  *KNOCK ON SOME MOTHERFUCKIN WOOD!*
  • JK.  Right after I typed that, Teh German informed me that there was a poopsplosion on our guest bed.  I knew I jinxed myself.  *Quietly repeating to myself: My dogs are so cute, my dogs are so cute, do not kill them, do not kill them.*
Update: I have no idea what actually happened here, but I'm 90% confident the mattress is ruined.  In good news, I didn't even get upset, so YAY for the anxiety meds working.

ZWEI

Things I bought this week:

  • Groceries/house things from Walmart/Sams
  • Gas
  • Banana pudding at Home Team
  • Friday coffee and an apple fritter that I mostly didn't eat.
  • Subway (I had a coupon and I've been having a craving for Subway, it was weird.)
It has become alarming how much money I'm NOT spending.  Like maybe I'm forgetting to buy something?  Idk, I'll take it.  JK, I'm about to drop a ton of money on wedding things. Siiiigh.

DREI

From my phone:

We saw this at Walmart and I appreciated someone else's ingenuity.

Got pulled over Tuesday morning for speeding.
Apparently, you should slow down when the officer gets behind you, despite the fact that you know they caught you going 10 over the posted speed limit...  Fortunately, I only received a warning.

Family peanut butter time.
The beasts received frozen peanut butter kongs and I treated myself to a frozen peanut butter hot chocolate while I did homework outside.  This ensured that Meri didn't nudge me for butt scratches for a solid 20 minutes.

What do you call a fish with no eyes?
Fsh.

Another joke that I forgot to selfie with:
What does a didgeridoo?
Whatever it wants to.

What do you call a bird who drinks too much?
An owlcoholic.

Teh German has decided to start a new project and he went and fetched a new motorcycle last night.
It was obviously a full moon because when he asked me I said yes.
Now he has something to do while I do homework... or so he says.

FÜNF

10 things that made me happy this week:
  1. Sitting outside at work.
  2. Friday coffee.
  3. Homework assistance from the instructor.
  4. Doing well in my German class without much effort and compliments on my essays.
  5. Doritos for breakfast, Fruity Pebbles with marshmallows for dinner.
  6. Hoodies.

UNO

Fun things to come in November (ok and Halloween):
  • Halloween!  We decided on a couple costume.  Oh yes, WE.  We are that couple (as if you're surprised by that), we know how nauseating we are.  We embrace it.  LOL.

    • Friends' Halloween Gathering
    • Another Friends' Halloween Gathering
  • An extra hour of sleep (yes, that's worth celebrating)
  • Trapt concert on Nov 3rd

  • Sweet Tea 1/2 Marathon
  • The chili cook-off at the Citadel that I went to last year with Teh SC House Finder and Teh Architect
  • Thanksgiving (no idea what the details are Thanksgiving day, but I am considering a Turkey Trot or the 7am WOD)
  • Trying to ignore Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales

DOS

Sooooo, when does it become acceptable to just not do Christmas presents?  The past few years, my desire to give gifts has gotten less and less (it also helps that my bank account pees a little when I look at it with Christmas gift shopping in mind).  In fact, I don't even want to receive that many gifts either.  I'd rather receive one thoughtful small thing than 5 things I don't really need.  Is this adulting again?  Ughhh.

I think part of my problem is that if I want something, I buy it for myself.  Somethings I wait on, but very rarely.  There is nothing I need either.  In fact, there are a lot of things I NEED to do, like purge my closet or clean my house (ugh again), but I don't see those being applicable Christmas presents.  But I'm accepting these things as gifts if anyone is volunteering.  I don't turn away gift givers.

That said, I didn't even do a Christmas tree last year.  1- There's Meri.  If you live under a rock and aren't aware, Meri is part goat.  She'd eat everything on the tree.  Some of my decorations are from when I was a kid.  I don't want to have to release her into the wild, she was so expensive and she's so cute so often.  2- I have no idea where I'd put a tree other than in the dining room, which I guess is kinda cool cause then the lights would be way more ambient than the overhead lights.  Hrmmm maybe I just talked myself into a Christmas tree?  3- It costs dollars to either buy a fake tree or a real tree.  4- I'm not sure how extreme Teh German is on the scale of "OMG YAY CHRISTMAS EXPLOSION ALL OVER THE HOUSE" to "Eh, take it or leave it."  Also, it is Teh German's first Christmas away from his family for the holidays... so no pressure, Megan.  #mustplanALLTHETHINGS

TRES

every.single.time.

After reading a FB comment where the person used ZERO capitalization and ZERO punctuation, I almost lost my freakin' mind.. But mostly because she was bitching about how shitty YOUTHS were these days and how they have zero respect for anyone.  Well, she has zero respect for grammar and I hope her family doesn't know how to use commas.

Stop airing your dirty laundry on FB.  We get that you want to rant, but seriously, inappropriate, kthx?

Oh Pun Husky, you make my day.

QUATRO

This article about trigger warnings and over-sensitivity to things that make us uncomfortable definitely made me think.

I fucking say what I want.

#Blimpgate became a thing and I'm so glad that people can have a sense of humor, but I'm sure that no one who was possibly responsible for tethering a $2.7 billion blimp thought it was funny at all.  I'm also sure that aviation commands in the NE were PUMPED (pun intended) about having an awesome mission.

Brianne posted this article about passionate women and I'm proud to say I identify with so many of those traits now, where I wouldn't have at the beginning of 2015.

Apparently, in some countries, feminine hygiene products are under scrutiny for being taxed as a luxury item.  Switching to the cup eliminates this problem and waste build up (because if you recycle used feminine hygiene products.. I just have nothing to say to that), just saying.

CINCO

10 things that made me happy this week:
  1. This one isn't going to be a surprise: THE LEAVES AND THE MOUNTAINS AND LAST WEEKEND!!
  2. My new Ninja blender and it's awesomeness where I press a button and it just DOES MAGIC.
  3. The ability to go out and get lunch and work from home.
    1. Caveat: Specifically from Willie Jewell's
  4. Coworker to me: That is a very dignified photo of you two on your desk.  Me to Coworker: Riiiiiight! (Photo below).  Same Coworker later in the week: You really aren't a morning person are you?  Because normally when I come in the morning I say hello and you just grunt back at me.  Me to Coworker: I say hello!  I just don't enunciate well that early in the morning.  Coworker to Me: You're perfectly fine from like lunch on, but before then, well... you grunt a lot.
  5. We were talking about my being frustrated at Crossfit and then Teh German sent this:
    awwwwwwwwww
Also, Wonderboy is from Hercules, if you didn't get the reference.
Yes, that is Teh German's name in my phone.
  6. When people tell me that Teh German and I are a cute couple, even if it looks like they are trying to decide to heckle or compliment us on how cheesy we are (ya know, if it's in person).
  7. Delicious smoothies that I didn't follow a recipe for, for breakfast.
  8. Spontaneous late night motorcycle rides that include my favorite bridge and making a full circle through/around Charleston.
  9. Spending a total of $9.95 on our Halloween costumes after using Amazon rewards points and Target discounts/gift cards.  PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME (oh yes that was a hint).
  10. Realizing how much my life has changed in the last 3 months and what a drastic difference there is between Oct 2014 Megan and Oct 2015 Megan.

We keep it classy (and dignified).
Seriously this is one of my fave photos of us.

Five on Friday #49

UNO

Mike and I made our first solo voyage to work this morning.  It was awesome and I feel like such a big girl!  I wasn't overly worried, but it was kinda like taking off the training wheels.  It was lonely not having anyone to yell at when stopped at red lights though (we yell since we can't hear each other with the ear plugs and helmets on and over how loud Mr. Scrooge's motorcycle is).

Proof.

DOS

Yesterday there was supposed to be a protest related to the North Charleston shooting that was supposed to close the bridge that Teh MD Adult Roomie and I ran over.  The head boss told us that we could go home to avoid the inevitable traffic issues that this would cause so I booked it out of the office, went on a short (but miserable) run and went home and finished my work day.  I LOVE working from home not because I can do it and not wear any pants (which is appealing) but because that means I get to spend extra time with my puppies.

Meri and Xero were being extra adorable yesterday so I'm just going to post some doggy porn here since I haven't update Teh Doggy blog since.. uhhh January.. Oops.

There was a 3rd video, but it was 8 minutes long and I'll spare you that time of your life you'll never get back.  If you're really interested/morbidly curious about what other videos I've posted (warning: it's 95% dog videos), it's on Teh YouTube feed.

TRES

This week has been tough for some reason and we've been up late almost every night (mostly due to going out for evening rides, which means dinner doesn't get started until after 7).  Additionally, I'm OVER the poop presents that a mystery dog (Xero) keeps leaving in my floor in the middle of the night.  Seriously.  Last night it was vomit AND poop.  The poops were almost solid though, so that was a sweet relief after uncountable diarrhea puddles in my floor.  The vomit situation (a first time) is slightly concerning to me and I'm wondering if spook dog needs to go to the vet... or if I'm over feeding him... or if he's just a weirdo.  For my adopt-Xero-enabling-Gentle-Readers, this is why I still say he's for adoption.  If we could get past this poop thing, I'd be SUPER tempted to adopt him, even with his petrification of all humans with a penis mostly because he keeps Meri entertained in ways Phil doesn't... and by that I mean Phil doesn't play with Meri.. ever.

I feel like I should apologize for all the poop talk this week, but most of you didn't mind and completely agreed with me, which totally made me feel validate, thank you very much by the way.  I love my Gentle Readers.

Weekend Review {3/16}

FRIDAY

Mr. Voices and Mrs. Boomkin stayed with us on Thursday night, which made my week... which had been pretty difficult the first five days.  Since they were just staying for an overnight and I flexed my hours properly earlier in the week, I was able to go out with them to breakfast on Friday morning at Another Broken Egg Cafe, which has become our go-to place to bring people who are visiting Charleston (mostly because they have call ahead seating, which is very convenient for Sunday morning brunch and because I really love the huevos rancheros).

They are prepping for the Bridge Run.  I totally send this photo to Teh MD Adult Roomie.

I had to be at work by 9 for my morning meetings and I was only 3 minutes late, which is pretty good considering how much I didn't want us to have to part ways, me to go to work, them to drive back to NJ.  Work was work, and that last hour before it was time to leave almost slayed me.  I didn't want to get caught up in blog comments because then I wouldn't leave on time.  Additionally, I was feeling generally blah, so I wasn't in the mood to write (which seems to be continuing, but I'm powering through it for the time being).

When I finally left at 2, I changed and went on a run.  What I had decided was only going to be a 2 mile run turned into 4.  Originally, I wasn't going to run at all, but then I self-guilted since it was only 65°F out and soon it's going to be 90 billion°F + 196% humidity and I'm going to want to die.  I knew when I didn't want to run that if I did run it was going to be one those surprisingly good runs.  I probably could have went for 5-6 miles, but I wasn't that committed and I went a different way this time, so I wasn't sure if the sidewalk would keep going... #runnerproblems  I hate when that happens though, seriously.  Those always make the hard runs extra hard because they sneak up on you.

This asshole couldn't wait 5 minutes, if that, for the train to pass and instead wanted to execute an unsafe traffic maneuver...  Working near the ship yard and paper mill is very scary sometimes.

After my run, I came home and showered and was generally lethargic and lazy for the evening.  Mr. Scrooge had prepared some hamburglers from the hamburger meat I had defrosted, so he cooked those for dinner after we both napped for a bit.  The problem with longer runs is that I'm famished, but when he fell asleep, I didn't want to rouse him, because I was feeling nice.  Instead I went and laid in the bed and read.  I finished Eleanor & Park and the book Teh BFF got me for Christmas and I worked through more of The Interestings.

#feetupfriday  Gettin' my rollin' on after my run.

#firstworldproblem alert: reading physical books (as in not Teh Flamin' Kindle) is difficult now.  Ok, not really, but because I was laying in bed and I was tired and needed sustenance, I kept trying to doze off and the book would slip and then I'd wake up and do it 4 more times and I finally gave up.  I wouldn't do this with Teh Flamin' Kindle because it was too expensive to fall to the floor so I would have just put it down before I started to nod off.

Mr. Scrooge finally woke up though, and I didn't die of hunger, and the hamburgers were delicious.  We had so many toppings I couldn't keep my burger together and bacon.  Bacon IN the burgers and bacon for the top and cheese and mushrooms and onions and tomato and avocado and spinach.. nooommmm.  We didn't do anything overly exciting while we ate dinner, besides fend off fuzzy beasties and channel surf.

Eventually we headed to bed, where I read some more and Mr. Scrooge FB surfed.

SATURDAY

Originally, we had intended on going to a St. Patrick's Day Parade thingy with Teh SC House Finder and her family, but I switched it up at the last minute and we went to the greyhound meet and greet thingy at Frothy Beard Brewery instead.  I was able to bring all 3 dogs since Mr. Scrooge opted to go with us.  It was raining so he wasn't going a ride.  Before we left, Mr. Scrooge made eggs to go on top of our leftover hamburglers for lunch.  It was a perfect lunch.  It was way better than going out anywhere.

I feel like I'm really struggling to make friends down here, besides the people that I was already friends with when I got here.  All of the folks with the greyhound group are older (one lady even has a rat tail, which I'm not judging, but whhhatttt?) and, as I've talked about before, they aren't GEGR by any means.  When the lady who does the coordinating was chatting with me she said that if the weather had been nicer, they could have brought a tent and put a table under it.  I asked if they had any xpens, then they could just put all the greyhounds in the pen.  She looked at me like I had 6 eyes and said they wouldn't all fit in 1 xpen and I explained that you link a few together to make room for all the dogs.  Sometimes I feel like I overwhelm people or come off like a snob.  I honestly didn't mean to in this situation.  It just makes more sense to me to have the dogs all penned off in a single area, rather than each dog leashed to a person (which only creates a logistical disaster when they get tangled or there's traffic congestion and you're trying to pull the dogs away from smellin' each other's asses, blah blah blah).

Whatever.  Between the Brewery dog with the incessant barking and all the people crammed into a small space it didn't take me very long to be ready to go.  After we left the Brewery, we went by the Old Fashioned Cafe for a hot fudge cake, nommm.  It made up for all the people and rain and begging dogs (mine).

Xero the Hero was ready too.  He was even gonna drive us home!

When we got home, I read while Mr. Scrooge played his stupid video game (that I was telling him what happened before it happened, since we're repeating the story line).  We decided on mexican for dinner since we'd seen something on food network about mexican food while we had been eating lunch/breakfast.  We went to a place I found on Yelp that wasn't really anything I'd write home about (if people still did that).  After we got home we watched Goldfinger (the first time I'd ever seen it) and then it was bedtime.

How Xero prefers to get on the couch when Mr. Scrooge is sitting in the floor playing his video games being scary.

Puppy snuggles!!

SUNDAY

I had planned for a lazy day on Sunday and we ended up being rather productive.  Mr. Scrooge went out to Lowes to pick up some things and when he came back he washed his truck and, with some bartering, Yurtle.  While he was doing those things, I finally got motivated and cleaned the house.  I vacuumed the floor and did laundry.  Then after the floor was clean, I let in the dogs and they tracked mud prints all over my house...... Grrr.  At which point, all 3 dogs received baths and no one liked it, especially me.  Later, I announced to Mr. Scrooge that I wanted a new shower head for the guest bathroom, one with the cord like Teh MD Adult Roomie installed at the MD townhouse, because my back was killing me after washing all 3.

Phil was extremely jealous of my apple with peanut butter.. and I'm an extreme sucker for my big boy.

After Mr. Scrooge was finished washing the vehicles, he decided to go on a ride, which I had expected to happen earlier in the day since the weather was so fabulous on Sunday.  While he was gone, I finished my cleaning and continued the laundry and showered and moved the vehicles back into the places and tried to start this post.  Mr. Scrooge returned sooner than I anticipated, but I was ok with that since he was grilling steaks for dinner.  They had been marinating since Friday so they were extra delicious.  While we ate dinner, we watched the original Star Trek 2: Wrath of Kahn.  Having never seen it, it wasn't so bad.  I did noticed some similarities between the original and the 2000's version, like when Jim runs down the gangway when Spock is in the radioactive room.

The best part of grilled pineapple is utilizing the juice in the best way possible.. with RUMSY-RUM (sadly, there was no coconut rum in the house, which would have been most delicious).

After the movie, it was much needed bedtime.  Cleaning really wore me out.

Overall, it was a much needed lazy, dog weekend.  Teh MD Roomies will be here at the end of the month and I'm pretty hyped up for that.  We'll be doing go-karts, running the Cooper Bridge run (woot! first race since my Diva's half marathon!) and hanging out and being silly and I can't.even.waiiiiittttttttt.  In fact, 12 days.  /dropmicrophone.

Happy Monday, Gentle Readers!
