EINS - Random Shit

If your job posting is listed as "entry level" and requires a Bachelors degree + 3+ years of experience....
THAT IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB, GO FUCK YOURSELF.

Based on my lack of motivation to do physical activity, it must be fat week.  Runs have been mostly out of the question, but I did roll my rolls out of bed to walk with Teh Bestie and walked the beasts, even if they only got short loops.

Teh German started running in the AM since the 9Rounds he was going to officially closed (which makes me sad for him, but I won't say I didn't get a small bit of satisfaction from the situation after how the owner fucked me over when I went to Germany last year).  Unfortunately, he's still getting up at his gym time instead of sleeping in a little.  Fortunately, the dogs have decided they are tired of our early wake up shit and don't even bother moving until the last person finally gets up and goes downstairs, IF THEN.  It's fabulous.

But you better believe that if no one is up by 0645, Meri will let you know.

After MUCH debate, I cut my hair.  Like A LOT of it.  As in, most of the blue/color is gone.

Not only is a drastic change, butttttt it also means I get to go back to washing my hair daily.  I'm sad and glad, but mostly glad.

I bought a large container of blueberries recently.  Teh German pulled it out to have some.  He asked me if they needed to be washed, I said yes.  Then he started doing weird shit and I straight up called him out...

M: Are you just going to pull out what you want and wash JUST that portion?
T gives me a confused face: What else would I do?
M: IDK, wash ALL of them?
T: I can't put them back in the container.
M: Yeah, because you should put them in a bowl...

WUT?  Why is this so hard?  It's like we've never had food that had to be washed before eating it in our house before.  Why not just wash it all at once so that way it's always ready to eat from here on?  Why does putting the washed fruit in another bowl not just come to mind immediately?  So much confusion.

So kind of on purpose and kind of out of ignorance, during an initial interview, I don't ask about salary.
Ignorance because for some positions, that all has to be worked out with HR.
On purpose because it gives me a reason to contact the interviewer later with a question (assuming they've told me to reach out with any questions I may have (which is standard)) and to pop back up on their radar.

I'm not like a professional, but I may have some tricks up my sleeve at making people notice me.

There are people on my FB feed that I refuse to hide because I live to hate on their posts.  It's petty, I know.  I know I should hide them and then I wouldn't see their garbage, but then I'd have to remember to go to their page to make fun of the shit they share and that's too much effort, so I have to leave it in my feed.

I hate when my blood sugar bottoms out, out of nowhere.  Like I'll be fine, fine, fine.  Ok, yes, it's almost lunch time, then it's 15 minute later and I'm shaky and unable to concentrate and yelling at everything.

Like, it's earlier than you ate yesterday, can you take it down a level, Body?

Despite changing my Amazon password, there is still a strange charge from Amazon Video that I did not make again this month.. and with some investigative work, I have determined that someone signed up for a Prime Video service that requires a subscription and I was paying for it.  /facepalm

Figured it out while I was on the phone with Chase to report the fraudulent activity.

Like, I'm glad I don't have to get a new card, but annoyed nonetheless.

I blow dried my hair this morning and I'm feeling super pretty.  NBD.  Sometimes the effort is worth it.

DREI - From My Phone Shit

You see how close that drip is to the edge of the plate.. that's HOW CLOSE it was to almost being ON MY BOOB.  Whew.

Willow was drunk this week.

DOGS

The body pillow life chose me.

When you held a puppy but your Beast Army thinks you cheated on them and need to be cleansed of all sniffable scents.

This bed is causing a LOT of drama.
Sandy insists that it is HER and has a tantrum when others lay on it.
I'm about to move that thing back to the living room.
Hard knock life for everyone.

My bestest Monkey-Doodle.

Meri got eaten by the couch.

Moose insisted on being full body petted while he supervised my work.

Then, the next morning, he insisted on supervising my work again.

These bitches actin' like they weren't creating a ruckus outside the bathroom door because I had the door shut.  Look at Sandy's face, like, "HOW DARE YOU?"
Please also note how incredibly difficult it is to get a non-blurry photo of Meri when she isn't asleep.

VIER - From the Internet Shit

For real, this happens way more often than I care to admit.
The processing time is REAL.

This explains my last 2 years of schooling, LOOOOOL

PREACH.
Also, for me, this applies at work.

FÜNF - Things that made me happy this week

  1. Both of my projects were in a week-long planning meeting.  It was glorious.
  2. Interview (even though I did hear something about 5-6 months for background checks, FML).
  3. An investigator accidentally calling me and as their penance I made them discuss the potential for how long until my clearance is adjudicated... and also gave them some helpful information to make their job easier.
  4. A new work friend who might be a good connection, we'll see.
  5. Demands from my Moose for attention and lovins.
  6. The arrival of medals, even if it means I need to do a half marathon now, so I can put my Divas medal on the rack.
  7. The return of hockey.
  8. Jeans.
  9. Potential for rain. Ok, some might call it a hurricane, but as someone posted on FB, a hurricane right now is the most normal 2020 thing of the year, so I'll take it.
  10. Not having to get a new credit card number... again.

Happy Friday, Gentle Readers.

Weekend Review {07/22}

FRIDAY

Friday was Chem test day and work.  I left the office a bit earlier than normal to go back to the windshield replacement place since my windshield washer fluid didn't work.  The tech said it had a "kink" in the hose, butttt the fact that my windshield wipers aren't currently trafficking the full distance of the windshield on the driver's side, creating a HUGE block in my windshield visibility would maybe suggest I had the FNG (fucking new guy) who was in a hurry to get done and didn't bother to do any quality tests to make sure all my shit worked properly.  Apparently, there is a way to make the windshield wipers traffic based on how they are rotated or clip in or something, IDK, I read about it on the internet and had someone explain it to me, but I'm not doing it myself when they fucked it up.  I mean.. come the fuck on, it's not that difficult... unless you're 1- not paying attention or 2- in a rush.

Anyways, I considered going to the gym, but talked myself out of it, of course.  I went home to more packages at the door!  My (last) Woot Boxes of Crap.  While these boxes have been fun, they are mostly a waste of money for me and even the "big" item in the box hasn't been anything that great, IMO.  We got a Fire Stick in a box a while ago and this big box had a Blink camera in it, which Teh German will set up to watch the fish tank, probably.

The most ironic things in this box of crap?
The Chemistry study guide thing and the grow "aquarium".
By far the best item?
The retractable roasting sticks.
Teh German did say the airbuds had pretty good sound quality, which surprised both of us.
Teh PT Husband received the golf tees, otherwise, the rest of it is donate/white elephant stuff.

This was the Limited Edition Box of Crap.
The Blink camera came in this box.
Other crap I kept: the reusable bag, the cell phone looking thing (it's actually a stress squeezy thing that I'll give to my laser lady), 2 squawky monkies for Pax, the hangers, and the plastic container.

Squawky monkey already lost his arm because it was dry rotted.

Then this happened with said Squawky Monkey:

If you watched the video and didn't see it.. Squawky Monkey is still on top of the GerMerican flag.  Teh German was like uhh dafuq?  But once I explained what happened, he laughed.  And now Squawky Monkey is still hanging there, making me giggle every time I traverse the stairs.

Other things that arrived in the mail:

New watch bands, so I could replace that silly putty/flesh band that came with the Galaxy Watch.
IDK whose good idea that was, but they need to not be allowed to make decisions.

New Sparkle Skirts.
I 100% did NOT need these, but they were on sale and Sparkle Skirts never go on sale... so I did it.
I did return the capris that came with this order.  They were a huge NOPE.

Teh German was a better person than me and went to the gym, so I patiently waited on him to get home by filling my time with work things and then couch time.  We agreed to go out to dinner at Boxcar Betty's, which is a mix-up for me since I don't usually do fried chicken sammiches.  But I wanted something fast, something close, and something easy.  Dun.

The face you make when it's WELL past your dinner time and your husband doesn't understand that we needed to leave 30 minutes ago and he's just farting around doing whatever he does when he refuses go at the pace of another person....
#JesusTakeTheWheel

I finally pulled the wifely, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!  It's past my food time," and Teh German finally quit fucking around and put his shoes on.  I still have no idea wtf he was doing, but I was ready to kill him.  Not so coincidentally, I was wearing my hangry caterpillar shirt.. so I mean... I warned him...

We had dinner, then we hit up the mall because Teh German had dropped his phone in the parking lot at work.  I suggested we check out the place in the mall that advertised screen repairs, so he could avoid having to make a trip downtown to the Apple store to have the screen replaced.  While we waited on the screen replacement, we picked up Dairy Queen and walked around Books-A-Million, where I talked 2 people into buying at least 2 of the Cards Against Humanity color sets.  #SorryNotSorry  Finally, once his phone was repaired, we headed home.

When we got home, we had the finances conversation that I had warned him about before we left work.  I had said it would happen that night or before the end of the weekend, and rather than let it loom over us all weekend and me ultimately loose my bravery, I just bit the bullet after we got home from dinner.  I pulled out Teh German's laptop and we both signed into our financial websites and checked the balances and decided on a game plan to get rid of these car payments.

When I first started the conversation, he was very, "Do we have to do this now???"  I insisted I just wanted to get it over with and he didn't protest anymore.  (Praise hands, yall).  We both agreed that we wanted to get the vehicles paid off by next summer since that's when the GI Bill money will no longer be coming in.  Essentially, paying off the vehicles will be GI Bill money that has been coming in, when it comes out in the wash.

We both ended up putting a huge chunk on our vehicle payments, something Teh German has been saying he's going to do since he bought the truck, but that is neither here nor there...  😒  We also agreed that after the vehicles are paid off, we'll be doubling up on the house payment.  We both acknowledge that Charleston is probably not our forever place, so to have the house more paid off than if we'd been paying the minimum payment is an ideal situation for when the time does come.

All that remains...

After our money chat, it was bedtime.

SATURDAY

Initially, I wanted to go to the gym on Saturday.  I wanted to wear a new skirt and I wanted to test out the Galaxy Watch during a workout.  It didn't happen.  Instead, I walked the dogs on a big loop, scooped poop, then weeded the fucking flower bed, then walked the beasts to Teh Brit Neighbor's house to drop off a passionflower vine, then came back home and bathed the smelly beasts, Meri first, then Pax.

After I cleaned the beasts, I cleaned myself and then reheated my coffee and made egg salad for lunch.  I made sure to take some gas-x with that, like the adult I am.  Also, life is better with an egg slicer.  I'm not really sure why I have an egg slicer, but I'm not sorry.  Also, next time, I'm only slicing 2 ways because I think the chunks were too small slicing 3 ways.  YOLO, bitches.

Teh German had been doing yard work and outside projects all morning and we didn't eat until around 2.  That said, he was in a SHIT mood when he came inside and I did the domesticated wifely duties and put food and beverage in front of Husband and still he was shitty.  I tried to keep it together and not lose my shit on him, but he kept getting an attitude with me anytime I'd try to initiate conversation and I finally had it and said to him, "I've done NOTHING to you.  In fact, the only thing you've HAD to do since you came inside is SIT THE FUCK DOWN AT THE ISLAND AND EAT YOUR FOOD.  I served everything to you.  Literally everything.  So, I am NOT YOUR PROBLEM and I do NOT deserve to be the target of your frustration."

At that, I finished cleaning up and putting everything away and went into the office to fuck around on the computer to avoid him.  A little while later, he came in and apologized for being shitty and hugged me and explained that in addition to his phone factory resetting randomly, his last backup was from mid-2018, annnnd also a weed eater attachment had fallen from the hooks and dented the rear fender of his truck.

And while that all sucks, none of that is my fault.. sooo I said, thanks and then he went back outside to do Teh German things, while I stayed inside in the AC.

A little while later, Teh PT Husband said our smoked ribs were done and I explained that Teh German had just come inside and needed to shower, but we'd be over in a bit to fetch the ribs.  We spent the evening on the back porch, ordering pizza for dinner because Teh German suggested it.  I picked up a 6 pack of White Zombie by Catawba Brewing (woot woot for Home, Home breweries!) for Teh German to drink, if I didn't like them.  I actually put one with a Sprite and it made a pretty good radler.  Also, Teh PT Husband had a Palmetto Brewing beer that he opened and let us try and I actually liked it, so I drank that too.  It was strange for all of us.

When we got home, it was bedtime.  I stayed up reading for a while, but Teh German literally closed his eyes and was passed out.

SUNDAY

Sunday morning, Meri ensured that I was up by 0700 to feed her.  Actually, she scratched on the door, which usually means more than just feed me, so I acquiesced.  After the beasts were fed, I went back to bed and we ended up sleeping until 10.

It was a slow start, but Pax provided some entertainment.

After breakfast, which was fridge buffet, I decided to be motivated.  I washed all the dog bed covers, after having washed the dog bed sheets and the dogs Saturday, I wanted everything to be clean.  Then I finally decided to resize the body pillow I ordered to be Megan size.

I cut it down, measuring it loosely and cutting it poorly.. Then I set about hand-stitching it closed.  An hour into the project, I broke down and started texting neighbors who may have a sewing machine.  I was so unbearably frustrated at the knots and the lack of progress that I'd made.

#Goals #ItWasAGoodIdeaAtTheTime

Teh Brit Neighbor saved me and even gave me a "Bless Your Heart" (looooooool) when I messaged her in a fit of desperation.

She was home so she told me to come over.  She had me fixed up in under 30 minutes AND she even made a cover for the pillow out of scrap fabric AND she put in a velcro closure so the pillow wouldn't slip out... Have I mentioned how awesome our neighbors are lately?

While Teh Brit Neighbor worked, Teddy pawed at me and made sure to cop no less than 3 feels.
But he's Ted, so I didn't mind.

After the body pillow situation was remedied, I went back home and picked up Teh German, who had finished putting the final touches on the storm door (trim and the automatic close thing), and we headed to Lidl for groceries.

I had this moment of weakness thanks to Teh PT Husband's peer pressuring.
Dick.

After we got home, we put away the groceries and I headed to the pool to hang out with Teh PT Wife for a while.  When I got home, we made spaghetti for dinner, with meatballs from Teh NY Chef for Teh German (they were spicy).  He was super delighted with the meatballs in his spaghetti.  After dinner, we cleaned up, then sat down to watch a few episodes of The Americans before bed....

And then.. it was bedtime and the weekend was over.  Boooo.

______________________________________________

I literally want to hug my chem teacher for tests on Friday and free weekends.  That's the difference between teachers who don't give a fuck and teachers who actually want you to succeed, IMO.  Professors who understand that their class isn't the only class and that mental breaks are important.  Can we also acknowledge the INSANE difference between last summer and this summer?

Last summer when I literally hated everyone and everything and no amount of anxiety medication helped and I cried and cried and struggled.. and ultimately ended up failing my first ever college course and making my first ever D in a college course and I was ok with it because at least I didn't have to take Calc 2 again and the failing course didn't affect my GPA because it was at a different college.  I mean, those were my silver linings, I barely passed enough to not have to repeat the course and I could retake the failed course at the Citadel with no repercussions.  Those are some grim silver linings if you ask me.

This year, I feel like I am kinda still on summer break.  Weekends with NO school work really makes a HUGE difference in the level of despair I feel.  I also believe that the level of despair I feel is proportional to how well I do in class.  Less despair = doing better.  I wish I could take 1 class per month through the rest of my degree.  Being able to focus on a single subject every day is more reinforcing than many subjects for a short time per day.  I guess now I can see why self-paced online college is such a hit.  Nonetheless, 284 more days.

I am excited for August though, because NO SCHOOL.
I'm 2 weeks from the end of summer school.
That's 2 weeks from my next Hairs Did appointment.
That's 2 weeks from another tattoo session with Noel and potentially making the trip to Home, Home with Teh German so he can ride his bike while I get inked.
That's 2 more tests and the final exam for my chem class, not including lab crap.

I got this.

Five on Friday #185

EINS - Random Shit

-I had to go to Summerville to sign our taxes this week.  Just so happens that a Nothin' Bundt Cakes was on my way home.  I stopped in to get at least one "bundtlet" (a mini/personal size bundt cake) and I could smell the raspberry cakes they were cooking AND they had samples of it.. soooo I came home with a lemon and a white chocolate raspberry and I had ZERO RAGRATS.

-No new plans made on the German front yet.  Life this week included prioritizing lazy time and spending time with Teh German since his birthday was Tuesday.

-Thankfully, Teh German came home from work on Tuesday and had a change of heart about staying in.  We went to Famulari's at Cane Bay (which was a mistake since they really aren't that good, but it took us half the time to get there as our favorite location), then on the way home we stopped at Walmart for some things.  I pointed out to Teh German that when you enjoy looking through the home improvement section as part of your birthday "celebration" you really might be in your 30's.

-Yesterday I saw someone get t-boned because stopped traffic was letting someone turn left and the person in the right lane didn't realize since traffic was stopped and their lane was clear.  Thankfully, no one was in the passenger seat, but it definitely wasn't my favorite way to start the morning.  Also thankfully, there was an unmarked cop in traffic several cars back, so he heard the noise and flipped on the siren and lights and attended the scene.  Finally, thankfully, both cars were able to pull off into the McDonald's parking lot, so there was no traffic backup.

-It really it a poor life choice to tell yourself you'll get gas on your way into whatever you do in the AM.  And that's exactly what I did to myself.  So Thursday, I was already running late, I stopped to pick up breakfast because I hadn't properly planned, saw the accident, then still had to get gas, eat my breakfast, and make it to class on time.  Just in case, I messaged my professor on Slack to tell him I might be late.  I walked in a 0928, 2 minutes before class started.  #LikeABoss

-I, generally, look at my homework as soon as it is assigned.  I 100% definitely DO NOT wait to look at the homework until the night before or the day of and then proceed to ask the person who asked me 2+ weeks ago if I'd looked at the homework yet because they needed help, for help.  But that is exactly what 2 of my classmates did to me on Thursday morning.

Look here, Bro.  IDGAF about your inability to plan properly.  I wanted to do this fucking homework 2 weeks ago, but none of you fuckers took the time to even look at it to start to help me, so fuck you.  I did sit down with another classmate and worked on it a few days before it was due and we hammered it out with relative easy, assisting each other when we struggled.  It was delightful.  I was willing to do that with anyone, but noooo.  And then for one of the persons who asked me for help 3 hours before it was due got an attitude with me because I didn't help them... THEN he asked if I wanted to be his partner for the final project?  Uhhh, wut?  How about, FUCK NO.

-I was tagged in a FB post, asking if I was located near the area of the event in the post, which took place in Wake Forest, NC.  I explained that I live in Charleston, SC, not Raleigh.  Poster said they were confused.  I explained that I used to live in Raleigh, but no while we'd been friends.  No harm, no foul.  Then a 3rd party, with probable good intentions, chimed in, "Even those of us who live in the Carolinas get confused."  Ummm... speak fo' yo'self.  I do not get confused about these things.

-After more debacle and calls, mostly ME calling.. still nothing on the hot flashes prescription being free.  In fact, when I called the insurance prescription company this morning, I was informed there was no way that my prescription (Lo Loestrin) would be $0 cost.  That said, the customer service rep gave me a "correct" fax number for the doc to send a "PA" to...  after 2 calls to the doc this morning, the 2nd one when my nurse sent my call to her voicemail instead of speaking to me, I'm sure I'll be making calls for the rest of my fucking life about this garbage.  I REFUSE to pay $300 for a month of birth control pills.

Also, fun story from last weekend when I called the insurance company for this issue and the 1st time, I was speaking with someone who hung up on me and I was redirected to the main menu and had to start the process over.. then the 2nd person's "computer was updating, 'Can I call you back in 30 minutes?'" and they never called back.  So to say I'm over this shit is an understatement.  Add to the fact that my doc's nurse refuses to communicate with me in any way, responding to my emails, returning my calls, telling me to fuck off, I'm really struggling to maintain my "nice Megan" facade.

-Spring break is only ONE WEEK AWAY.  I only have to survive one more week of school and 1 midterm.  I can do this.  Then it's no school and Pittsburgh time to see Mumford & Sons.  Also, I have a ticket for sale if anyone is interested.  I know it's a long shot, but otherwise it's $100 wasted.

-I dislike being honest sometimes... Like when Teh German asked me this morning why I said something the way I did, not really because I said something in a particular way, but because he knows that something is going on and it's his way of asking what is wrong... and I admitted that I am irritated at him.  This is particularly douchey of me because 1- He had a long day and it wasn't that big of a deal, but it was to me.  2- I wasn't in the best of moods because I didn't get enough sleep.  3- We aren't going to see each other tonight.

Yesterday Teh German had to fly to NJ for a work meeting, so he was up at 0415 (which meant, so was I) then he left at 0445 (which meant he woke me up when he bumped me in the face to kiss me goodbye), then he got home at 9pm.  I was on the couch watching Grace and Frankie and I paused it to ask him how everything had went and we talked about his day for a bit.  Then he plopped down on the couch and I waited a few minutes, then un-paused my episode.  He didn't seem ready to go to bed, so we watched an episode of The Office, then it was bedtime.  The entire time, Teh German was on his phone, scrolling.  I knew he hadn't asked me about my day, but I also knew he had a long day and didn't want to put that on him.  Also, I always just blurt out everything.  I'm not the queen of mystery in anyway, so sometimes, it's nice to be asked about things, which, to me, expresses an interest.

By the time we went to bed, after laying in bed, more scrolling... I was pretty pissed.  I slept like shit.  So I admitted to Teh German I was irritated because he didn't bother to ask about my day after he got home.. instead, he spent time on his phone scrolling, which, I pointed out, was how he had spent the majority of his time at the airport.  There's nothing to be done for it after the fact, but I didn't even get an apology (not a surprise), so I'm in all kinds of feels and I hate it.  I also hate that he probably thinks I was trying to make him feel bad, which I wasn't, I was just trying to explain my feelings.  Considering Teh German doesn't tell me about his feelings, I shouldn't feel bad, since I am only assuming he feels bad.  IDK.  I'm tired of emotional constipation and having to hold it all together all the time.

I'm exhausted, Gentle Readers.  I'm emotionally and mentally drained..  I miss intimacy.  Not sex.  Intimacy.  And I also miss deep communication.  Not day to day dribble, but feelings and thoughts, communication of substance, which feeds into intimacy.

I'll end with this.
There's 2 hard things about marriage.
1- name change.  fuck that. don't ever do it.  Trust me.
2- Communication of substance.  It takes effort.  Effort is hard when day-to-day is hard.

ZWEI - Money Shit

-Chegg subscription.  Don't judge me.
-Vacuum filters for Roomy and the Shark.
-Groceries/house things
-Groupon for pizza since Teh German picked a place that had a Groupon for his birthday.
-Bojangles breakfast x2 this week.  That means 2 days of forgetting to thaw my breakfast sammich. Booooooooo/yay.
-2 bundt cakes from Nothin' Bundt Cakes
-Gas

DREI - From My Phone Shit

Teh German bought this "damaged" sign at the Beer Festival event.
I won't lie.  It's pretty cool.  Even if it's more than I would have paid.

The trifecta of perfect toilet:
seat up (unused), water blue (recently cleaned), automatic flushing.

The Cleaners left us a caterpillar surprise.
Definitely made me lol.

This keeps happening and my computer is barely a month old.
I should take it back, but faaaaccckkkkkkkk.

Look.  I used this fucking thing.  I still hate it.
I (over)steamed broccoli.

After being super frustrated regarding a printer situation that was resolved by simply resetting the router (after I'd been unsuccessfully troubleshooting for 45 minutes), this paper cut was the straw that broke the camel's back.

The next day... this happened.
Of course it fucked up the rings and now I have to buy a new binder.
Add to my rage list: .this.

When Husband isn't home for dinner.
#NotSorry

2 bitches chillin.

💗💛💚💙💜

What is the playing surface of the New Orleans Superdome called?
Mardi grass.

VIER - From the Internet Shit

If the hangers in your closet look like this, you are an animal.
I cannot.
CAN NOT.

FÜNF - Things that made me happy this week

  1. Teh German had to go on travel this week, but it was just a day trip, not an overnight trip.
  2. Nothin' Bundt Cakes and free samples.
  3. Completing the taxes stuff this year and the accountant billing me via Venmo.  Lawd, I love when people use technology.  Although, he totally could have used better emojis.
  4. Going out for Teh German's birthday.  He didn't want to celebrate over the weekend and I didn't really like that.
  5. The only homework I had to do this week during the evening was print something out.  Granted, that was more painful than the actual assignment....
  6. Finding shows on Netflix I want to watch.  One day.  When school is no longer in my life.
  7. Not getting a parking ticket when I was parked in a not-parking space.  I really hate when there are events on campus and normal shitty parking is even shittier.
  8. A $150 bonus for good work I've done for one of my projects.  I didn't know one of my PMs had put me up for it.  Apparently, he fought for 3 months to get it for me.  I was super appreciative.  Especially considering that it was in the same year that I got written up (for invalid reasons)...
  9. Not going to this gym after Monday.  My wrist was hurting from last week and Monday made my legs hurts and I have a half on Saturday.  Not going to the gym meant accomplishing other things and resting for my run.
  10. This song:

Happy Friday, Gentle Readers.
