UNOSorry if I'm obnoxious, buttttttt 5 more days till vacation!!!! Pamela posted on her Wednesday Confessions that she was glad she wasn't flying because of the Ebola virus going around and now I'm paranoid. Should I buy one of those mask thingies? Should I just over-hand-sanitize? How does one prepare to NOT contract Ebola? I really should follow the news more.
After some wikipedia research, I'm not as worried, but still, ain't nobody got time for sickness. I'm not really a toucher anyways (as in, I don't touch other people or go out of my way to touch things other people have, with the exception of door handles, etc).
I sometimes have a hard time with the communal desks/phones/computers we have to share at work. I'd much rather just have my desk with my germs rather than have that thought as I'm touching my face that someone else was sitting here when I wasn't and who knows the last time they washed their hands or touched their face, etc. Being me is hard, if you haven't caught on to that yet, Gentle Reader.
DOSLast week was a short week (for me) because of my packout and this week is a normal 5 day work week and next week is only 2 days and I never thought Friday would get here. Honestly, sometimes, the week just goes soooooo sllllloooooowwwwwwwwwww.
Work has been bustin' my balls for most of the week and I'm just over it. In addition, I got a curve ball thrown at me when I accepted this week for duty as an exchange since I was originally scheduled for duty while I'm on vacation. #militaryproblems
Nothing makes me want some "adult juice" more than not being able to have "adult juice," although I should probably save my liver for next week. We'll see how today goes before making a final determination on that.
In addition to work being a bitch, I've been trying to work out every day because I'm gonna need the hot bod next week (don't even judge me).. and the working out helps relieve some of the work stress (especially since I can't drink), so it's beneficial in multiple ways.
TRESI called to renew my Sirius Radio this morning and I can no longer get my $25 for 6 months promo. /dislike. When I decided to really cancel it, she offered me 3 months for the price of 1 month. I took it. I wasn't looking forward Sirius-less Yurtle. #firstworldproblems. It would have meant being better about updating my ipod and being out of touch with the current musics of the day... anddddd I'd never have discovered Kongos - Come With Me Now, so I mean, I'm dedicated by this point (ok, and a little spoiled).
QUATROI bought a blackhead extractor. I love it. Don't judge me. I love popping zits, that's probably why I love it so much. I've been using Neutrogena's Pore Refining Cleanser since February and I love it. I tried the exfoliating cleanser and hated it because of how bad my face kept breaking out on it.. and the smell. Oh the smell was horrid. The extractor + the face wash = the best my face has looked since I was pre-pubescent. I refer to blackheads as Wormies (because I pretty much have a name for everything) because that's what they look like when they come out. SOOOO many wormies come out with the extractor!!! And yes, sometimes it hurts a bit, but totally worth it.
I've always had bad skin. Being a teenager was rough, despite washing my face I still got zits. I get PMS acne. I have super bad blackheads (ok I consider them super bad, but that's because I see them every time I look in the mirror) in my nose and chin and some in my cheeks. My acne was so bad as a teenager that I would give the "zones" names. Like my chin was the "Deep South" because blackheads on the southern part of my face. And there was Texas was my nose (because it's so big) and Alaska on my temple. Teh Sister still understands what I'm talking about when I refer to the Deep South.
I paid a mabillion dollars and tried Mary Kay only to have my face breakout worse. So far this regiment is working the best of anything I've ever done. I

I've never used the toner.
CINCOI applied for more jobs last night and it overwhelms me to think about it. Since we got the SC house, I had to update my resume to show the SC address and then figured since I was at it, I should check all the sites again and linked in for jobs. Eventually, if I keep applying, someone is bound to hire me, right? Le siiigh. Job hunting causes me anxiety. It's the worst for my self-esteem. I've not gotten any rejection letters, so there's that gem. This weekend I might do more searchin'.
So far there are no big plans for this weekend. Our big event took place last night when we went to see Little Shop of Horrors. It was an amazing show, except for one thing. Audrey II didn't say, "Feed me, Seymour." He just said, "Feed me." The singing was great, the acting was on point, but that ONE line makes the entire show and it was MISSING! It's like ordering ice cream and they just give you whipped cream instead. It's still good, but it's not what you wanted.
There is game night on Saturday for some much needed Cards Against Humanity and there will be baby there, so extra baby cuddles/birth control for Teh Megan! There will also be a run at some point over the weekend too. I have some loose plans to spend lots of time with my laptop and maybe some Netflix. Not even sorry.
(I am sorry for the fact that there are no gifs in this post because I'm posting from work, but I'm not sorry I was blogging at work (that always makes Teh MD Teenage Roomie jealous that she doesn't have a job like mine)).
Linking up with these ladies since it's FFFFRRRRRRIIIIIIDDDDAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!
