Conditioning: 12 minute AMRAP of:
6 Strict Handstand Push-Ups (HSPU) (scaled to do from box)
9 Ring Dips (scaled from box)
12 Toes to Bar (scaled from floor)
Completed 5 rounds +3 HSPU
TUESDAYStrength: Front Squat 3×6@77% (65lbs)
3RFT (rounds for time)
100 Double-Unders (DUs) (crazy jumping rope)
30 Kettlebell Swings (25lbs)
20 Box Jumps (step ups)
Completed in ~12:30
I had a seriously hard time with the DUs. As in flung my jump rope and almost hit someone. Oops. I am going to work on getting that frustration under control, but there's just something about getting tangled in a jump rope that really sets me on fire. Then, when it whips you, the modest camp fire becomes an insane bonfire that singes off your eyebrows. I just.. struggle with DUs the most.
Also, let me just point out that elementary school Megan didn't really have much rope jumping skills and that was when other people were holding the rope or when I was holding my own rope. So to say that adult Megan has actually regressed in jump rope skills would be an accurate statement.

Dear sweet Jesus,
Why did I think that was a good idea? 50 wall balls after 50 back extensions almost did me in. I could feel the right side of my lower back tweaking out. Holy moly. I slowed down and took it easy and finished #likeaboss.

FRIDAYWell deserved rest day and I wasn't feeling well, even though I did look at the WOD and though, eh it's not that bad.. but then realized that my body HURTS all over and breathing hurts my throat...
