Five on Friday #87

EINS

I redid my Myers-Briggs test (twice for "accuracy" here and here)... this time I got:
ESFJ
Extravert(12%)  Sensing(25%)  Feeling(28%)  Judging(34%)
  • You have slight preference of Extraversion over Introversion (12%)
  • You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (25%)
  • You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (28%)
  • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (34%)

In interesting news, my extroversion continually decreases as I get older.  I used to be 80+% extroverted.. and now.. well, times have changed.

I find it interesting to see the differences in the results.  Also, please note that I took top one on Weds night and the bottom on Thurs morning.

I'm not sure how much I agree with these, but at least some of these things are true.  Or maybe it's more true than I want it to be?  Except for the part about working with a team.  I hate being on team projects.

ZWEI

Due to fattiness becoming a thing (thanks mostly to a lack of will power not to eat all the shit and the absence of working out), I've been trying to get back on the workout regime.  Except that, it's not going well.  Our schedule just hasn't really worked well with going to crossfit or even running.  The crossfit gym we I go to is now very far away.  Couple that with rush hour traffic, I'd rather solder my eyes closed.  Even if I wanted to deal with traffic, next week we have hockey on Monday and Tuesday because the Stingrays are letting us down and not winning games.  If we don't make it to the final playoff round, I wouldn't be too heartbroken since that would mean not having to deal with selling the tickets before we go on vacation.

All that to say, I've barely had time to workout.  Yes, I know I could make time, but we're getting up at 0520 and if I'm not in bed by 9pm, I can barely function the next day.  Also, I like to have some down time before going to bed.  So after coming home at 5 and dealing with the dogs and making dinner and my down time, it's already bedtime.  To suggest getting up earlier is a fruitless attempt, please do not bother.

So I'm going to Germany with my chub.  Whatever.  My personality is still charming AF.

DREI

Encouragement from my Gentle Readers to #treatyoself worked!  I scheduled my thai massage and cupping facial (that's not even dirty for you pervy Gentle Readers) for next Thursday.  What this really means is that I need to be packed by Wednesday night so I don't have to worry about it after my massage...  I'm almost certain that won't happen, but at least I won't be going into vacation completely in knots.

This place also offers acupuncture and I kinda want to try it.  The only downside is they are on the edge of downtown Charleston.  This means I scheduled my appointment at 1 so I didn't have to deal with rush hour traffic to get home.  #priorities since driving in rush hour stresses me out.

FÜNF

10 things that made me happy this week:
  1. Relaxing at HOME instead of feeling obligated to unpack everything RIGHT NOW.
  2. Listening to All the Light You Cannot See on my commute to/from work.
  3. My bathtub.  The jets.  The ability for water to drown out all other sounds.
  4. Getting to telework for 1/2 the day today.
  5. Magical fairies who drop off forms at my house so I don't forget to fill them out in time.
  6. When Teh German tells me about plans we have in Germany..... to see the Lichtenstein castle.  If you don't understand the relevance of the Lichtenstein castle.. I question our relationship. #priorities
  7. Seeing how content Meri and Phil look asleep on their slumber balls.
  8. Funny internet articles.
  9. Having photoshop skills for my homies.
  10. Scheduling my #treatyoself session

Happy Friday, Gentle Readers.
Linking up with these ladies since it's FFFFRRRRRRIIIIIIDDDDAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!

  3. I have taken a personality test before and was an INFJ, I wonder if it was the same type of test. Hope you have a great weekend!

  4. I did a personality test last year but have toyed with doing another. Incredibly insightful and accurate they are, aren't they? I'm an INFJ. A rare breed, my type.

I hear you about down time after work. The hours fly by and soon enough, it's bed time. I'm lucky in that I'm able to goto the gym on my work lunch breaks. I find it breaks up the day well, gets rid of mid-day stress and when I get home at now, I don't have to go out again.

I'm dying to hear about your cupping. They do it at my physio place but I've never asked how much it is but I'd love to try it. All the bruises afterwards look BADASS!

Those slumber balls you got the furkids are awesome! They look like they're enjoying them. :)

Have a great weekend homeslice! xo

  5. I took that test years ago and remember nothing. Going to do it again.

I am with you about not finding the time (although I know some will say I CAN find it) for an exercise routine. My alarm starts going off at 5am. I have 3 hours of commuting in my day coupled with 9 hours of standing at my work.

I'm so excited for you and your Germany trip!

  6. I don't think anyone actually likes group projects today? They are just a pain in the butt. So excited for Germany pictures! I love the slumber balls for the dogs. I am seriously considering getting one for Luna!
