EINSHow did you like the Disney reviews? I figured it would be awesome to post them on the same day that I was reviewing because I'd love to be at Disney all day, errday, mmmkay? Seriously, the task of writing those reviews was daunting and I really wanted to do it, but part of me seriously just questioned blogging anymore at all.
I'm glad it's documented because I know how much I relied on other's blogs to prepare for the Disney races. I also knew there were some of you waiting to see the photo porn that I was bound to produce. I hope you weren't disappointed. There will probably be more Disney smut when we finally purchase our official photos.
The summary post was eye opening for me because I did kinda go overboard, but I also knew I would. I'm definitely hoping that Disneyland will be significantly cheaper, despite 2 people going. We won't be staying at a Disney resort and I definitely won't be eating an $$$$ steaks.
Oh yeah, if you weren't here on Wednesday, I had an all caps announcement:
TEH GERMAN SAID YES WE COULD GO TO DISNEYLAND TO RUN THE DUMBO DARE WITH TEH MD-AR!!!! WOOOOOOOOOTTT!!!!
So you better enjoy the Disney-less posts when the appear, because in 6 months we'll be doing this again. #notsorry #disneyfanatic
Me to Teh German:
Me on the inside when Teh German said yes (since I was at work).
Me 5 minutes after Teh German confirmed he really said YES, WE could go to Disneyland on registration fees.
All of those gifs were perfectly fitting because I was Stitch for my Princess 10k and an OK member for the Princess 5k, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Aladdin is the theme for the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon Weekend. Just a suspicion.
ZWEII'm in Richmond today because Teh Sister scheduled a dentist appointment for my nephdawg, Judge, and she asked me if I wanted Phil to go. Originally, she was going to take them.. Somehow, I ended up roped into it as well. I did find lodging for us in Richmond on Thurs night with another GEGR person who is awesome, so that meant not having to get up at 4am to get to Richmond, so YAY!
No idea what all we have planned for today besides breakfast, but since I'm teleworking it includes at least a few hours of working and being on my 9am call then lugging some stoned dogs back to NC and SC.
Then tomorrow Teh German and I are running our first mud run, Rugged Maniac, which I've heard from experienced mud-runners is the best one. I'm already not looking forward to cleaning mud out of all of my crevices. Colored powder is one thing.. mud.. entirely different.
DREIGratuitous dog photos:
VIERFun things on the internets:
My new 404 page.
I know I'm late to the game, but why is Ryan Reynolds so perfect?
Ok, so I only recognize about half of these shows, but PBS watching kids will get this.
I'm still on my Disney high.. Disney representations of being drunk..
Ok, this moldy sippy cup had me wanting to never have kids so I don't have to worry about this problem...
Bras are the worst. These people understand.
4, 7, and 19 definitely got me from this list of shower thoughts.
Moderately humorous race signs.
Sex ed: let's do it backwards and pray for progress....
FÜNF10 thing that made me happy this week:
- TEH GERMAN SAYING YES TO DISNEYLAND
- Telling Teh MD-AR that Teh German said yes!
- This video of zingers from Downton Abbey. Dowager Countess is probably my favorite person on television ever.
- Being able to stay with a GEGR friend instead of having to wake up at 3am to drive to Richmond for Phil's dental.
- Wifi at restaurants
- Seeing my nephdawgs and hanging out with Teh Sister
- Dog parks off the interstate
- Winning the "are we going to run out of gas" game.... again.
- Misplaced kisses and extra long hugs due to the herpaderp
- SIDING ON HOUSE!!!!!!
Happy Friday, Gentle Readers.
Linking up with these ladies since it's FFFFRRRRRRIIIIIIDDDDAAAAYYYY!!!!!!!!!
